Carole A. Feuerman’s public art installation “Monuments of Stillness” is currently on view on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago! Ten of her hyperrealist sculptures—ranging from lifesize to 12 feet tall—are installed from the Wrigley Building and toward Oak Street on N Michigan Ave. Locals and visitors will be able to enjoy these stunning, monumental pieces through November, 2026.

As a celebration of this important installation, we’re excited to share that we have some remaining copies of the Collector’s Edition of Feuerman’s monograph, “Swimmers: Carole Feuerman”. Signed and numbered archival artist prints with a Swarovski crystal accompanying each copy of this limited edition. Each print is hand-mounted into the front of the publication, all housed in a shimmering linen slipcase with a tipped-on image. Link in our bio to learn more about this collectible edition.

Our new title ‘Great American Treasures: Women Preserving History Since 1891’ offers a fantastic opportunity to reflect and celebrate our country’s 250th year. This comprehensive survey of the architecture, furnishings, and gardens that epitomize the nation’s diverse material culture.

Since 1891, the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America (NSCDA) has actively promoted our national heritage through historic preservation, restoration, and the interpretation of historic sites across the United States.

Featuring the NSCDA’s collection of historic places, this publication speaks to the diversity of traditions, people, and architecture in a growing nation—from English Georgian houses on the eastern seaboard to a French Colonial dwelling in Missouri and mission houses in Hawai’i. Thus illuminating the stories and material traditions of the wide range of individuals who contributed to the founding of the United States and to the development of America as a dynamic multicultural nation.

We are thrilled to share that a curated selection of The Artist Book Foundation books will be at the 2026 ALA (American Library Association) Annual Conference, hosted in Chicago this week. ‘The World Before Racism: An Art Story’ and ‘Will Barnet’ will be present with our distributor Two Rivers, an Ingram Publisher Services (“IPS”) brand.

We are honored to have TABF books present at this important convening of thousands of library professionals as they celebrate collective achievements and look to the future. Libraries are the leaders in providing equitable access to knowledge through their collections, resources, and other cultural materials with safe spaces for learning. It is because of our love for libraries that we are excited to offer TABF titles in both print and eBook formats—identical to each other, thus offering an uncompromised reading experience. Including out-of-print titles as well as current publications.

Library professionals attending the conference can visit the Two Rivers / INGRAM booth to experience the books in person and to learn more about TABF. If you’re unable to attend or would like to learn more, visit our web page dedicated to libraries and educational organizations, link in bio.

“I’m interested in the look of things and the quality of being there,” photorealist artist Rod Penner says. “A moment that is completely frozen with all the variety of textures; rust on poles, crumbling asphalt, light hitting the grass.”

Penner’s meticulous technique records both the iconic imagery and the beauty of these once-prosperous streets and neighborhoods that still endure. The incredibly poignant scenes evoke a universalism, a collective experience seen through the lens of Americana.

Penner’s painting “View of Llano, TX” is currently included in the show Rivaling Reality: 60 Years of Photorealism at Museum Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden, Germany. On view until August 2, 2026.

Shown is our title Rod Penner: Paintings, 1987-2022. Available as hardcover and eBook in our Bookshop!

Congratulations to Carole Feuerman for recieving the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center (ISC)! We are absolutely thrilled and delighted that she has been honored with this important recognition of her monumental practice and many contributions to the global arts community.

For over five decades, Carole Feuerman has redefined realism in sculpture. Her human-figure sculptures express a refreshing perspective on the mundane but intensely personal activities of modern life. Her powers of observation and versatility find unique expression through various materials that include marble, bronze, vinyl, and painted resins, while she incorporates both ancient and contemporary methods in the creation of her works.

We take this opportunity to revisit “Swimmers: Carole Feuerman,” a gorgeous and shimmering glimpse at her work. In his astute and insightful essay, American poet and critic John Yau describes Feuerman’s exquisitely rendered figures as subjects “caught in a moment of transition that radiates an intense eroticism.” We love how boldly this statement captures the power of Feuerman’s sculpture. Link in our profile to learn more about the book and collector’s edition.

Feuerman’s monumental sculptures are currently on view at in Baku, Azerbaijan, in Tampa, FL, and in Quebec City, Canada.
