πŸš’πŸ”₯ MORE THAN A FIRE TRUCK β€” IT’S A PIECE OF HISTORY! πŸ”₯πŸš’

Every fire truck has a story. We’re here to make sure those stories are never forgotten!

At the Battalion Chief John Magrann Fire Museum, our mission is to preserve the apparatus, equipment, traditions, and history of the fire service for generations to come.

One of our exciting additions is the 1959 Mack B85 100-foot Tiller Ladder Truck, originally serving the Keystone Hook & Ladder Company of Reading, Pennsylvania!

Apparatus like this represent decades of firefighting history, dedication, and service to the community.

πŸ›οΈ There’s always something to discover at our museum!

From antique fire apparatus and historic fire alarm boxes to vintage equipment, photographs, and ongoing restoration projects, we’re continually expanding our collection and creating new displays.

πŸš’πŸ”§ BEHIND THE SCENES β€” HISTORY IS BEING RESTORED! πŸ”§πŸš’

At the Battalion Chief John Magrann Fire Museum, preserving fire service history means more than displaying antique fire trucks and memorabilia. It means rolling up our sleeves and keeping history alive!

Our ongoing restoration of the 1927 Ahrens-Fox fire engine is a perfect example of that commitment. With each piece carefully removed, repaired, and restored, we’re bringing another important piece of firefighting history closer to its former glory.

But our mission doesn’t stop with fire apparatus!

πŸš’ 1927 AHRENS-FOX RESTORATION UPDATE! πŸš’

Progress continues on our 1927 Ahrens-Fox restoration project!

Each week brings us another step closer to getting this historic piece of fire apparatus ready for sandblasting and primer.

πŸ”§ Today’s progress: The rear step and fenders were removed as we continue preparing the truck for the next phase of restoration.

Restoring a nearly 100-year-old fire truck takes time, patience, and dedication, but seeing the progress each week makes it all worthwhile!

Stay tuned as we continue bringing this incredible piece of fire service history back to life!
