Hey there everyone out there! šŸ‘‹šŸ¼

I recently realized that my online presence has been nonexistent lately and I am working on doing better to resolve that. Finding the time to post is going to be the most difficult part of that but I am going to try to remember to post and make the time for it to make it happen. That said, I should probably pick up where I left off and continue posting the last BPaul Studios delivery trip but I don’t have that much time. For now, I’d like to share a recently completed order that went home to South Carolina with its owner not too long ago.

Any fans of the Dave Matthews Band out there? (I know you are… just sayin’. Hehe!) Do you recognize this poster? I’m sure that many of you will. It has, rightfully, become one of the biggest DMB poster grails in existence. It is, affectionately, called Gold Pour by fans & collectors. It depicts the pouring of liquid gold into a mold of the DMB’s fire dancer logo and is completely fitting for the location of the show that it was created for… Steel Town • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was a sincere honor & pleasure to be given the opportunity to give a copy of this print the BP treatment. (Thanks again, Scott. šŸ™šŸ¼)

A New Year’s resolution was to be better about posting on the media that is social. I am aware that I have been slacking in that department in the recent past and I’m going to try to be better about it. That said, I will be posting pics from my most recent delivery trip over the coming days. Normally, I had made daily journal posts during such trips but, on this trip, I found it to be a bit overwhelming and had intended to post upon my return home but packing and moving from FL to VA prevented that. Sorry for the delay but better late than never, right? My memory of where and when might be slightly off but I’m going to do my best to remember as accurately as I can. šŸ™‚

So, without any further ado, here’s part one of Delivery Trip #8…..

Day One was a 325 mile journey to my niece, Gwen’s, place in western North Carolina with a few stops along the way. First stop, coastal Florida to drop off the first of many orders with my friends Chuck & Liz. Unfortunately, they were delayed helping with the kitties they care for and couldn’t get home in time so I got to meet mom and leave their Phish Charleston 2019 frame up with her for them to find when they got home. I added a surprise photo (a picture that I, personally, took at the Charleston shows) into the design that they weren’t aware of in order to balance out the space next to the ticket stubs. Luckily, they loved it. Onward to South Carolina for a couple of deliveries. First, a very special frame up of a print by Chuck Sperry of the one and only Jerry Garcia for Geoff. One of four prints that Chuck created of Jerry, one for each season, with this one being ā€˜Autumn’. It was great meeting Geoff in person for the first time and getting this meaningful order (as a fellow Deadhead) to him. The next stop was a late-night stop in Greenville, SC where I dropped off two gorgeous Chuck Sperry frame ups and a special Whatson frame up with a custom hand-painted mat to my friend & client, Scott. This design was inspired by a frame up of a piece by Chengxiang Shang by Framed By Kosal that extended the ladder in the artwork down to the frame. I loved it so much that it gave me the idea to do the same with this piece as well as extend the graffiti into the top of the piece. I wasn’t quite sure how it would turn out but I was extremely pleased with the result. Thanks for the inspiration, Kosal. You are, truly, a master of our craft. šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ Always a pleasure seeing Scott and allowing the ā€œafter hoursā€ delivery was much appreciated. A couple of hours later, I arrived at my niece’s and was greeted by some newborn kittens along with their mom & aunt. Arriving much later than planned, our time together was short but I love my Niecey Gwen and always enjoy every minute that I get to spend with her and my nephew nephew, Evyn. ā¤ļø After hanging out for a bit, it was time to get some much needed rest before hitting the road again the next morning.

Stay tuned for the next installment coming soon.
