Step back in time and discover the fascinating world of dolls at the Jasper County Museum!

Dolls have been a cherished part of childhood for centuries, with their history dating back thousands of years. Early dolls were often handmade from materials like wood, clay, corn husks, or fabric, reflecting the resources and creativity of the time. In the 1800s, dolls became more refined with porcelain faces and detailed clothing, often representing fashion and culture of the era.
