This Friday September 4th In conjunction with Night Market, Come sing, dance, perform your original song or just come listen and enjoy Open Mic/Karaoke At Primaltones Venue

We combine open mic and karaoke together to give you an option to either perform an original, or cover with your own instrument, or pick a song from our karaoke library. This will be happening in conjunction with our Night Market!

We have a professional stage, sound system and lights with the ambiance of a true performance lounge.

Thank you to Graece Gabriel for helping host and run the stage!

Our bar will also be open with micro brews, cider and kombucha on tap. We have wine, prosecco, cbd beverages and lots of other options too. And of course plenty of non alcoholic choices as well. We offer pizza, ice cream, snacks and popcorn too.

We use BMI and SEASAC song libraries and have a quality sound system to enjoy the music on. Come and join us!

Doors open at 6pm
Open mic/Karaoke starts at 7pm
All ages until 10pm. 21+ until close.
No cover.

This Friday August 21st at Primaltones in Newport! Get ready for a high-energy night of groove-driven indie-psych-rock, funk, and soulful swagger with Skyler and the Sketchy Kids!

Led by powerhouse frontman Skyler Squglio (Free Creatures), the band blends tight musicianship with infectious rhythms, sharp songwriting, and a stage presence that turns every show into a party. Drawing from funk, rock, soul, and modern jam influences, Skyler and the Sketchy Kids deliver punchy grooves, catchy hooks, and extended moments that keep the crowd locked in from start to finish. Their sound is polished but playful—equal parts danceable and gritty.

This Saturday August 15th we have a very special show happening right here at Primaltones Venue in Newport! Join us for an evening of story telling, singing, dancing and didgeridoo performances by world class performers.

Coming all the way from Australia, respected Australian Aboriginal Artist - Lewis Burns. will join us. Lewis is a Tubba-Gah Wiradjuri man born in Dubbo, NSW Austrailia. He has been sharing Aboriginal culture, art and performance world wide for decades and we're excited to have him return to Primaltones!

Local Didgeridoo player, maker and producer Tyler Spencer will also be performing. Tyler Spencer has over 25 years experience performing, teaching and making Didgeridoo. He has performed internationally, and has collaborated with a variety of musical and performing acts. His music has also been showcased on movie and television work, most notably the HBO series “Dexter”.

After Lewis and Tyler's set, we'll open our stage to some other fantastic visiting didge players including Dan Flynn. We'll have an open mic format to encourage other players to hop up and share on stage. This is going to be a special night, so come on out and enjoy the music and be prepared to dance and jam through out the night!
