Jerry Schneider is a former teacher and children's librarian who has brought the wonderful world of bats to audiences since 2003, using amazing photos by Merlin D. Tuttle, former president of Bat Conservation International. Cool photos, bat echolocation calls, and a fun t-shirt craft are all part of this program, totally free and sure to be a eye-opening, interactive experience for both children and adults. It's all happening on Thursday, July 23 at 10:30 at the gazebo in Gardner Park. Bring a white T-Shirt.

Author, Natalie Kinsey-Warnock , will be joining us for Stories in the Park tomorrow morning at 10:30. Come to the gazebo in Gardner Park to hear Natalie discuss the the quilts made by her grandmother and how it influenced some of her works.

The historic Goodrich Memorial Library in Newport, Vermont, is seeking a library clerk. The successful candidate will enjoy providing customer service, possess good clerical skills, and enjoy reading. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus. This is a 30-hour-per-week position with some Saturday hours. Compensation is set at $15.80 per hour.
