Newcomerstown Historical Society We are a small-town historical society operating not one, but two museums. The Olde Main Street Museum and Social Center is a town within a building.

Our Temperance Tavern Museum is an 1841 inn which was a stop for passengers on the Ohio and Erie Canal.

Also we have a new Christmas ornament featuring a canal boat that would have visited our beloved Temperance Tavern in 1841. Don’t Miss Christmas Wonderland (hours/dates) listed in pictures

There will be beautiful trees sponsored and decorated by local businesses and organizations for sale. Vote for your favorite tree. Lots of wreaths and tabletop items decorated and donated by museum elves will also be for sale.
