✨ Artist Spotlight - Tiffany Franklyn ✨

There is something deeply personal about Tiffany Franklyn’s The Making of What Will Be.

At first glance, the piece feels vibrant and dreamlike, layered with movement, architecture, nature, memory, and emotion all existing together at once. But the longer you stand with it, the more you begin to realize this work is not just about a place. It is about becoming.

The figure wears headphones, quietly disconnecting from the present while imagining a future that has not fully formed yet. Around her are fragments of home, unfinished structures, floating spaces, and shifting landscapes that never quite settle. There is beauty in that uncertainty.

What makes this work especially compelling is the emotional tension Tiffany creates between searching and belonging. Between adapting and remaining true to yourself. Even the young leopard-like cat becomes symbolic of transformation, resilience, and the instinct to keep moving forward despite not having all the answers yet.

As an emerging artist making her gallery debut, Tiffany brings an incredibly thoughtful voice to the space. Her work does not demand attention loudly. Instead, it pulls viewers inward slowly, rewarding those willing to spend time with it.

And maybe that is what makes this piece linger.

It captures that in between stage so many people know intimately - the feeling of becoming something new while still trying to hold onto who you are.

The Making of What Will Be by Tiffany Franklyn is currently on view and available for acquisition at Bank Art Gallery in Newburgh, New York.

✨ Artist Spotlight - Mark Hopkins ✨

At first glance, Concentrate 666 feels quiet, balanced, almost meditative.

But the longer you stay with it, the more the details begin to reveal themselves.

In this work, Mark Hopkins explores tension between destruction and possibility, conflict and renewal, power and awareness. Floating above it all is the Buddha, calm, observant, unchanged, while beneath unfolds a world of symbols, choices, and human consequence.

The floor begins to feel almost like a map. Paths cross. Shapes repeat. Energy builds. Yet at the center remains something unexpected: possibility.

What makes this piece so compelling is that even while confronting uncertainty, it never feels hopeless. It leaves room for reflection and for the possibility that even in moments of tension and uncertainty, something new can still emerge.

And maybe that is what stays with you after you walk away:

When everything around us demands our attention… what do we choose to concentrate on?

Concentrate 666 by Mark Hopkins is currently on view and available for acquisition at Bank Art Gallery in Newburgh, New York.

✨ Artist Spotlight - Joseph Eschenberg ✨

Joseph Eschenberg’s mixed media assemblages are layered explorations of movement, tension, instinct, and transformation. Built from found materials, textured surfaces, industrial elements, and intuitive composition, his work feels both architectural and emotionally charged.

His featured piece, What is Crossroads, explores the defining moments that shape a creative and personal journey. The intersecting paths move throughout the composition like a visual map of choice and consequence, reflecting the internal push and pull between ambition, pressure, integrity, and possibility.

There’s an energy within Joseph’s work that feels constantly in motion. The piece balances structure and chaos so naturally that the eye never fully settles in one place. Every texture, line, and layered element begins to feel symbolic of the decisions, collisions, and unexpected turns that shape a life over time.

What makes this work especially compelling is the way it sits at the threshold between where someone has been and where they may be going next. It is about transformation, but also about the weight of the choices that lead us there. The piece quietly asks viewers to reflect on the crossroads within their own lives, and how differently everything might look had even one path been chosen differently.

Currently on view and available for acquisition at Bank Art Gallery in Newburgh, New York.
