EMISSARRIES
"Shluchim"
2014

There are over 6,000 Chabad emissaries in all 50 states and over 100 countries. They and their families set up Chabad houses to serve the spiritual needs of Jewish residents, visitors & students. Each year they return to Brooklyn for a convention and they take a group photo. This takes a while to set up and the rabbi here uses his time to study and learn.

I'm speculating that if we land another man on the moon one of the Shluchim would be waiting & offering a pastrami sandwich

THE OHEL
Queens, 2012

The Ohel is the resting place of the Lubavitcher Rebbe (l) and the Previous Rebbe, a holy site and a place were both prayers and blessings are strengthened. It’s customary to write a personal prayer and tear it after reading. Those are the scraps in front of the headstones.
