Selections from an "action" children's book written for my nephew, Nash Lancaster, 1997ish. (Full disclosure: Written for but defintely not "about".)
I played with words as image and image as words here and kept the illustrations, well, you will see....Now looking at this again after 10+ years I am tempted to go back and saturate the colors....making them more "cartoony". The next step would be to persuade Isabel to turn this into an animation.

World Trade Memorial Competition
Virtual Exhibit of all 5,201 Submissions from Around the World Opens
13,683 registrations received, 5,201 submissions, 63 nations and 49 states represented.
In April 2003, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation launched what became the largest design competition in history. Across six continents, from 63 nations and 49 states, 5,201 individuals answered the call to honor all who were killed in terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. The global outpouring of support reflects an unbounded faith in humanity– one that transcends nationality and geography.
