Glasshouse was a DIY art space in Williamsburg that was a pre-curser to many later art venues. It helped popularize Williamsburg and brought many young people from all over NYC and America to Williamsburg. Many bands started there careers there and a few became famous after finding there artistic vision through performing at Glasshouse. We created this page in memory of the space and the times when art was still revolutionary.
