Because of her practice, she has discovered her Indigenous American heritage and many mythologies surrounding ancient America.

Dannielle Hodson’s debut solo exhibition in NYC, 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴, is at Kravets Wehby Gallery. In her luscious new oil paintings, chaos ensues in pursuit of the white rabbit as Dannielle’s intuition leads the way. The journey itself is impromptu and where it ends is to be discovered.

The show will run concurrently with Drea Cofield’s solo exhibition, 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘕𝘶𝘥𝘦.

An exhibition of new selfie paintings, 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘕𝘶𝘥𝘦, by Drea Cofield is currently at Kravets Wehby Gallery. For the past several years, Cofield has engaged the genre of portraiture by painting selfies. Many of these are self-portraits, some are paintings of friends, some are sent to her by strangers on the internet.

𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘕𝘶𝘥𝘦 is on view concurrently with 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴, a solo show by Dannielle Hodson.

Kravets Wehby Gallery will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, March 30th for an extended holiday weekend. Alison Blickle’s paintings in “Offering to Janus” all have details embellished with phosphorescent oil paint. They are just mesmerizing under the black light on top of being so beautifully rendered.
