We are excited to announce 𝘓𝘰 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘥𝘰 𝘥𝘦 𝘭𝘰 𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘰 (𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥), an exhibition of new monoprints by Gamaliel Rodríguez.⁠

The exhibition will open our fall season and be on view from September 10–October 10, 2026, at 536 West 22nd Street. This presentation marks Rodríguez's first solo exhibition with Pace Prints.⁠

There will be an opening reception on Thursday, September 10, from 6–8 p.m.⁠
⁠
Conjuring vibrant images of his native Puerto Rico and the wider Caribbean, Rodríguez's new monoprints revisit themes central to his practice while exploring the expansive possibilities of printmaking at a new scale. Rendered across sweeping surfaces exceeding four feet across, the works transform landscapes of the artist's homeland into meditations on the contested relationship between nature and the built environment. Layering lush vegetation, industrial infrastructure, and the remnants of colonial architecture, Rodríguez’s new body of work confronts the enduring tension⁠ between nature and industry across the postcolonial Caribbean and⁠ American landscapes.⁠

Created in collaboration with the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat and published by Flatiron Editions, this screen-printed edition of 85 is available exclusively through Pace Prints.

M, based on a panel painting created in Basquiat’s Venice, California studio in 1984, belongs to the same body of work as Gold Griot and Flexible, both painted that same year. These works reflect Basquiat’s enduring depiction of the figure of the griot, the West African storyteller and keeper of communal memory – particularly interesting as his artworks, saturated in cultural and historical images and references, are often vessels forsuch histories themselves. This powerful image is rendered with Basquiat’s signature energetic brush strokes and sense of balance to define oneof the artist’s most compelling and iconic figures.

This posthumous release is stamped and signed by Lisane Basquiat andJeanine Heriveaux, the artist’s sisters and administrators of the Estate ofJean-Michel Basquiat.

Coming July 28 from the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat—𝘔(1984/2026)

We are pleased to announce our next print release in collaboration with the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Published by Flatiron Editions, and available exclusively through Pace Prints, this new edition will be available starting at 11AM on July 28.

The posthumous release is stamped and signed by Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, the artist’s sisters and administrators of the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Pace Prints is pleased to present Spell It Out a group exhibition of significant editions, monoprints, collages, and handmade paper works by a multi-generational selection of artists, including John Chamberlain, Shepard Fairey, Robert Gober, Friedrich Kunath, Spencer Lewis, Jake Longstreth, Erik Parker, Kiki Smith, Adam Pendleton, John Loring, Elliott Hundley, Peter Saul, Jenny Holzer, Nina Chanel Abney, Jane Hammond, Christopher Wool, and Pat Phillips.

The exhibition will be on view July 24–August 28, 2026 at 536 West 22nd Street.

This collection of prints showcases the ways in which artists have used text and language to provide context, emphasize, or add counterpoint to their imagery. From poetic and humorous, to directly political, the inclusion of text often serves as a means to provoke the viewer into a new understanding of otherwise ubiquitous signifiers.

This is the final week to see Alex Israel's exhibition 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘺 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥?, which closes this Saturday, June 6.

These 10 new editions by the artist draw inspiration from a multitude of sources, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, Georgia O'Keeffe’s skulls, Robert Bechtle, William Eggleston, John James Audubon, The Endless Summer poster by John Van Hamersveld, and the architecture of Lloyd Wright, among others.
