My MOCA

MyMOCA.app.link activates the entire planet into a working art gallery.

MyMOCA is a FREE utility app with no fees, no commissions, and no charges for the sale of artwork.

Upload art is created, found, or collected for the purpose of its promotion and protection only. Operators’ data will not be used for any other purpose.

Works of art can be sold, traded, gifted, or loaned using a blockchain transfer feature, which allows operators to negotiate terms, trace a piece’s provenance of creation and history of ownership.

Operators detail and customize any terms or commissions with each transfer individually.

Any payment for art or services takes place between operators using their preferred payment methods. MyMOCA does not process payments. Artists need to insure their own artworks.

Artwork can be used as a form of currency by transferring the artwork credential.

Once a credential transfer is accepted, each owner’s data becomes locked and only the current holder of the artwork can add to its history. Operators can only add to the story in a transfer but not change original Credential.

Once art is uploaded it becomes identifiable with the SCAN feature, and the operator will know if it has been uploaded or scanned it in the past, when previous scans/uploads took place, and where their art has been featured over time (private collection, institution installation, virtual or physical gallery, movie/TV appearances, etc.)

You can host, post, share, submit, and map a work of art for it to be shown everywhere in the world. With the permission of the artist, art can also be submitted to a movie or tv show.

An “Institution” account accepts submissions for exhibitions and “Individuals” submit art for shows. Each account requires its own email address. Notifications are optional, we recommend the unobtrusive badge number on MyMOCA icon.

From the “Controls” page, operators can interact with all features listed.

The “Homepage” functions as a familiar social media feed, with the opportunity to like, vote, and comment (either publicly or privately) on artworks.

This official painting of Colin Powell in the National Portrait Gallery was created by former League instructor Ronald Sherr. Mr. Powell, the first Black chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, passed away on Monday.

National security adviser for President Reagan, Mr. Powell became the youngest chairman of the Joint Chiefs under President Bush Sr. and served as the first Black Secretary of State under President Bush Jr.

"I think of him as a man that's bigger than life," Mr. Sherr explained in 2012 when the portrait was unveiled. In the 18-month long process, many revisions were made leading to a full-length portrait that is indeed "larger than life."

"I really feel like he's there, in the portrait, you know?" Mr. Sherr explained. "I feel like that's the way he stands. That's the way he kind of looks at you. Hopefully other people will feel that."

🎨: Ronald N. Sherr. "General Colin Powell," (detail) 2012. Oil on canvas, 92 1/2" x 51 3/4", National Portrait Gallery.

I am Harry Dillberger, and I´m am outraged. This was not previsivel at all. My outrage is an instantaneous, the real instant one, induced by a great part of post of artist s I really just despise. ( to say the least). Well, please let me get the record really straight. No but´s and if´s, and no. no absolutely NO unqualified questions afterward.
I for one appreciate your strive for great art. And don´t a lot of people tell you they do this ? Ha ? What ?
My accumulated wisdom is not as complete as it seems, that´s why I´m asking you an honest question I can not resolve alone in my about walnut size dinosaur brain. So, Hmm I´m not that smart, what can I do ? about it immediately ? (I know this question alone is gonna lead to a lifetime ban to post anything on this super page,
larger than life as it appears from simple facebook, from a little distance
My real quest in asking is, is it not directly relatable to a genre or style. Nevertheless I think the general interest in this topic will reverberate throughout the art world. Please let me rephrase it all for general understanding. " Why in Gods name do some "artists" post so platant pics of themselves fiddling in gloves with some acrylic paint. Is Acrylic so poisonous ? IF SO TELL ME PLEASE ! Please don´t let me die that stupid, your´s sincerely. Your one and only Harry.
WHAT ? TELL IF YOU CAN IMMEDIATELY ! YOU THINK I got Eternal life ? Fast or keep it to yourself forever !
Repugnant subject, but art nonetheless. The artist really captured him in his natural element.
I wanted to invite everyone in this group to a free, virtual event on November 24 when superstar contemporary artist Liu Xiaodong joins renowned art journalist Barbara Pollack to discuss his life, career, and what it means to be an artist in China today.
