ZAKKA is a shop and artists' space, where you can find graphic art-related books, as well as other select items boasting unique design, including T-shirts, Motion Graphics and Miscellaneous goods. In addition to select graphic art literatures, our book and magazine section carries a wide-range of titles covering all genres of contemporary art, such as architecture, illustration, and design; all to
meet creative people's needs. We also offer part of our store space as "Creator's Market", allowing upcoming artists to showcase their creative energy through experimental events and for-sale products like T-shirts, Zine and other collectables. With a branch office in Japan, Zakka highlights some of the latest Japanese subcultures and art scenes through its acclaimed selection of unusual merchandise. Since ZAKKA NYC in Soho '94 first opened it's doors to Artists as a creators space, for the past 14 years we have not simply been just an ART BOOK STORE, but also we have hosted such events as the ART T-SHOW, DESIGNER TOY PROJECT, etc., and are looking forward to further new endeavors in the new location DUMBO BROOKLYN that we moved to in October 2007.
