Welcome to the wall Xinyun Chen

Painter behind The Echo Chamber Project, exploring how symbols mean nothing on their own and everything in context. A skull in a vanitas painting signals death, the same skull in a textbook stays neutral. The work repeats identical images through different painterly approaches, letting colour, repetition and trompe l’oeil destabilise what each one says. Influenced by Paula Siebra, Jung and Frazer. The paintings don’t deliver meaning, they suspend it, and hand the negotiation to you.

Welcome to the wall Cristian Duverge | 🎥

Filmmaker and visual artist based in New York, working in the tension between reality and cinema. The way a familiar street changes under a certain light, the way a passing moment starts to feel like a scene. Photography became a way to slow down and notice. Filmmaking became a way to expand those moments into stories. Nothing polished, nothing removed from reality, just something honest and lived in. Every frame carries what happened before it and what might happen after.

Welcome to the wall Justin Remo

Printmaker making hand printed vignettes of romance and loneliness. Born with congenital heart disease, the work sits with the heart as an appendage of desperation and vulnerability, where connection and harm are equally possible. Comics shape the storytelling, layering surreal illustration against realistic environments to explore the slippage between what happened and how it is remembered. Humour sits at the centre, meeting sorrow and heartbreak with gentle defiance. Printmaking becomes preservation, giving permanence to moments that might otherwise dissolve.

Conceptual photographer and visual storyteller working on identity, performance and belonging. The work documents the visual languages of selfhood that emerge in alternative spaces, from the perspective of an alt, q***r, Black woman. Fashion, intimacy, excess, softness and refusal. The body becomes both subject and architecture, dressed and transformed as an act of becoming. An ongoing question about how we see ourselves through others, and how community becomes a mirror for invention, fantasy and truth.
