As promised, I am starting a new drawing class at the West Pasco Art Guild on Thursday, Sept 3, 2026 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. It will run for six weeks--9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, & 10/8 being the final class.
The cost is $60.00 for guild members and $90.00 for non-members for the 6 week series. You can register and pay for the series of 6 classes on the WPAG website. WPAG is no longer covering instructor's expenses and therefore, I must charge the students to recoup these costs so there will be a $10 charge for copies, handouts, & misc. supplies payable directly to Pat Toney on the first day of class.
Each student must come prepared with:
1. Sketch pad (acid free) at least 9 X 12, brand does not matter (NOT Student grade)
2. Set of sketching pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, etc) Brand does not matter
3. Kneaded eraser. Brand does not matter
All these can be purchased at Michaels or Hobby Lobby or online (Dick Blick, Jerry's Art-o-rama). If you already have tools, pack up your toolbox and bring them along, you'll probably use everything. Ruler, compass, scissors, tape, blending stumps, etc.
This class will cover the features of the face and culminate with a full face drawing. Several of you have taken this class previously and are welcome to join again for further practice to enhance your skills.
