What’s better than science? Science you can SPLASH in!
Come on over to the Louisiana Children’s Museum this Labor Day for our Foam Extravaganza. Fluffy clouds of foam will shoot up to 30 feet into the air for kids to run and splash through. The foam is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, scent-free, and biodegradable. Indoors we will be exploring Sudsy Science experiments too.

Along the way, kids will explore:
Science — how materials behave and change
STEM thinking — testing, predicting, and discovering cause and effect
School readiness — building fine-motor skills, creativity, problem-solving, and confidence through hands-on play

End-of-Summer Reset Week at LCM is coming.
We’re closed August 31– September 4 for a bit of behind-the-scenes magic, refreshing exhibits, training our team, and getting ready for a great fall season.

We’ll see you when we reopen on Saturday, September 5 for our Big Birthday Bash celebrating LCM's 40 anniversary. And yes, we’re open Labor Day Monday too!

Fall Hours begin after Labor Day
Open: Wed - Sat 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Sun 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
LCM will be closed Mon and Tues after Labor Day.
