We are grateful and blessed to have shared our love for the French Quarter and this community but, after 12 years on Jackson Square, and after a major renovation in December including new upscale art by … per the French Market Corporation’s request… the French Market Corporation’s board, after the directors prompting, have decided not to renew our lease but instead voted on to take over our space. We are saddened by this news and would like everyone to continue to support Omg! Candles by purchasing online at Omg-Nola.com and by supporting Alan at www.Alanzakem.com.
As we do not wish any ill will toward Trashe Vintage, we do feel that her definition of Vintage will not be an asset to the premier building in the French Quarter that is The Upper Pontalba building, nor is her type of vintage appropriate to be located in front of St Louis Cathedral. God bless us all! We love you!
