Oh those 80”s

This was me in 1983 when fortunately I had a nerdy boyfriend AND my only “crushes” were John McEnroe, Bart Connor and Kurt Thomas.
After my heartbreak of May 8, 1978, when my make believe fiancee, Donnie Osmond, married, it took me a couple of years to “crush” on anyone else…

That was… until 1982 when all the talent in sports started to turn out!

Not to brag about my nerd status, but I had the original 1982 John McEnroe Bic razor color printed, life size cardboard cut out in my room. He was taller than me!!!
I also had posters of Kurt Thomas, Bart Connor, Olga Korbet and Nadia Comenici

But, John…. He was the man

Oh the 80’s were good.

I have looked all through the interwebs for a sample of the John McEnroe life size standing cardboard cutout and NOTHING! Wow. Mom, Diana Glancey Schwindt, this is one item you should have made me keep…. Remember the manager at Canal Villere, Bob, busted protocol and gave it to me after I made such a fuss about it… I kept asking and he finally said, “Take it….I don’t know if I can get another but take it”. You and I were both ecstatic…

Two animal print swivel chairs for sale. They have normal wear and tear. Great if you don’t want to spend $1,000 plus on chairs like these and to place in an area that is often used ….
