Embellished canvas alert. I love painting on these to make them pop. Each one is covered in paint to add the texture of the original. (Although with my tiny paintbrush it is tiny texture). I always add something special to make them their own unique piece of art, add a bead, or a shoe…..and this one got a little extra love for four ladies who love Muses.

Another Muses piece is up on the easel and I am SO EXCITED about it ⚜️💜💛💚

My favorite parts of festival season are the after shows, the ones you won’t see on a schedule. A musician appearing on sets you wandered up to, a celebrity singing karaoke at that bar no one would ever know about, a random porch becoming a stage for a few hours long after the festival doors close down.

It’s a special magic you can’t dream up. I’ve seen so many random people popping up in the most beautiful underground corners of New Orleans this month and that my friends is the magic of it all 🎶

Magazine Street, The Rum House

Project 1/6 complete to get completely caught up, Brad in Chicago you’re up next. She’s cute. My kids and I used to walk Magazine St daily from Erato to Louisiana and then wander back through the Garden District to look at pretty houses and yards, smell flowers in gardens, talk to groundskeepers and let our hands touch the cemeteries. I may or may not have let a three year old climb on a few iron fences on really trying days. A double stroller fits by these tables….. barely but it fits ⚜️
