Level: Beginner

In this class, students will be working with borosilicate (similar to Pyrex) glass to learning the basics of sculpting with the glass on a torch. We will discuss making strong connections, which are needed to build larger pieces from multiple components. Plan on having a lot of fun and making some very cool things, too.

Saturday, October 24th, 2026 from 10am-1pm

Our foundational marble workshop consists of the basics in making a perfectly round sphere (marbles!). The instructor will demonstrate solid color marbles and move into combining colors and decor. If time permits, there’s an opportunity to further develop your skills creating round shapes, as well as learning some clever, artistic patterns and techniques that are a bit more challenging.

Saturday, November 14, 2026: 10am - 1pm

This is the FOUNDATION of foundation classes! Learning to create glass beads is the best starting point, especially if you have zero experience. Each student will create single color beads and move into adding dots, lines, and making different shaped beads. We go over safety first, and enjoy connecting glass to its rich history and the science behind this fascinating material. Everyone will make, at least, a few glass beads.
