We're over here yacking about our first artwalk of the season. It's this one, then Art for Arts Sake and then the holidays hit us like a freight train! No complaints though.

We'll have the studio open, the gallery s**c and span, and maybe some new things (wink wink). Who's coming?

This is the FOUNDATION of foundation classes! Learning to create glass beads is the best starting point, especially if you have zero experience. Each student will create single color beads and move into adding dots, lines, and making different shaped beads. We go over safety first, and enjoy connecting glass to its rich history and the science behind this fascinating material. Everyone will make, at least, a few glass beads.

And then there were TWO! Time is running out to get your seat in Beau Barrett’s November workshop here in our New Orleans studio!

This intermediate to advanced workshop is designed for artists with prior experience working in borosilicate glass who are ready to expand their technical control and creative range through the use of tubing and blown forms.
