Welcome the summer season and join us for the next What's in Bloom: Sno-ball Social. Enjoy complimentary gardens admission, a sno-ball on Longue Vue and provided by Imperial Woodpecker Sno-balls, and learn about what's in bloom this season from our gardens team.

*UPDATE - Due to extensive storm and tornado damage, the gardens are partially open: the Wild Garden, Walled Garden, and Pan Garden are currently staff only for clearing. House tours are suspended until further notice. Please enjoy free gardens admission Thursday and Friday.
Every day is rake day at Longue Vue, and today is no exception! Please come by, pick up a rake, and help us clear out some debris.
Yoga is in the Playhouse Thursday and summer camp is in session.

Pre-teens and teens age 11 to 16 are invited to join our Junior Curators program this summer from June 15 to 19. This is a unique learning opportunity for students interested in the behind-the-scenes operations of maintaining a historic cultural institution. Students will delve into archival research and collections management while learning the history of Longue Vue and how to give tours. Graduates qualify to lead public tours and assist with community programs at Longue Vue throughout the year.

Join us this Sunday for Traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate!

Black belt Allan Laskey leads this class all summer on Sundays from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. You can drop-in or sign up for the series. It's designed for seniors, but open to all! Wellness benefits include flexibility, improved balance and posture, cardiovascular health, stress relief, self-confidence, self-defense, and confrontation avoidance. Classes are hosted inside the Playhouse.
