On Black and White

My black and white series explores the tension between contrast, emotion, and restraint. By removing color, the work shifts the focus toward gesture, texture, light, shadow, and composition. Black becomes depth and mystery, while white introduces space, light, and possibility. Together, the works invite the viewer to look beyond the surface and experience the emotional weight of the pieces itself.
