Woldemar Neufeld's "Festival of Lights on the Green" captures the holiday charm of the New Milford Green from an earlier era (and it's a perfect holiday gift for the art lovers on your list).
The linoleum block print (linocut) is one of many original hand-signed linocuts available at the gallery by the late artist who was born in 1909 in Russia, emigrated to Ontario, Canada, in 1924, moved to New York City in the mid-1940s and came to New Milford in 1949.
Visit the gallery at 149 Park Lane Road (Rte. 202) in New Milford to see the full selection of Neufeld works, or contact gallery owner Greg Mullen at 860-354-3436. See the artist's profile page for more of the Neufelds at the gallery:

Gregory James Gallery has original Neufeld linocuts of iconic scenes in New Milford, Washington, New Preston, Kent, and around Lake Waramaug, as well as New York City from the 1950s through the late 20th century -- and any/all of them make perfect holiday gifts for the art lovers on your list.
Tapping into the artist's estate, we also have watercolors and oil paintings of Northwest Connecticut, and watercolors of Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and other summer havens in South County.
