Big things are happening at the New London Public Museum! šŸŽ‰

The museum will be temporarily closed until June 9 as the New London Public Library (WI) settles into its new downtown location and we begin to take our next step forward at 406 S. Pearl St!

As the museum prepares for a larger footprint, the costs of preservation, storage, and keeping admission free continue to grow. That’s why monthly donors matter more than ever.

🌱 Join our monthly sustainer giving circle and help preserve local history for future generations.

As a reminder, we will be temporarily closed until June 9th to allow the library to move to their new location on North Water St. So excited for the library, the museum, and the community!!

Big news for The Muse! šŸŽ™ļøāœØ

We’re excited to share that Christine, Executive Director New London Public Museum, was featured on Episode 3 of Brew London—a local podcast hosted by City of New London!

Being invited to join the conversation is such an honor, and it’s a reflection of how much momentum is building around the museum right now.

This is one you won’t want to miss if you care about where New London is headed.

Our Friends have been on our hearts this week, and we've been so encouraged to see the many ways people are showing up for one another. Below is one more example. If you can, please help support the flood relief efforts by spreading the word.

And if you're safe and able, we would also welcome you to send photos from your experience to help preserve this moment in our community's history.

Email photos & details to: [email protected]

Please make sure to include important details such as names, dates, locations, etc. for archival records.

Thank you for being a Friend. It means more to us than ever right now.

We are partnering with the city to be a DROP-OFF & DISTRIBUTION site for flood relief. We are open today 11am-7pm and all day tomorrow. We are accepting and distributing food, clothing, water, cleaning, and hygiene products. Please enter through DOOR 1 and DOOR 10 at the north side of campus.

We also have pumps & equipment to loan out for free to anyone in need, thanks to our partnership with WELS Christian Aid and Relief. Please come get them if you need them!
