PECO STEAM in the Summer 2026 kicked off this week at the Bucks County Children's Museum with the amazing Miss Rebecca! Children practiced small motor skills by sewing yarn into burlap, making geometric shapes and unique pieces of art. Thank you Miss Rebecca and thank you PECO for making STEAM in the Summer possible! 🥰🎨☀️

Thank you PECO for supporting this annual partnership between United Way Bucks County and The Bucks County Children's Museum which places summer STEM educational materials directly into the hands of 500+ children at United Way preschool sites. George's Inn: Life in 1776, a new exhibit at The Bucks County Children's Museum is now OPEN! BCCM was thrilled to have reenactors from Friends of Crossing Park on hand for the official opening...including George Washington 😊. This exhibit transports young learners to life in 1776 and strengthens their understanding of our nation's history just in time for the celebration of the America250. 🎉
Thank you to Jennifer Martin & Friends of Washington Crossing Park for their guidance on this project, and America250PA, The Philadelphia Funder Collaborative for the Semiquincentennial, Visit Bucks County Grant Program, and Lisa & Garrett Owen for their support of this exciting new exhibit!
