Yesterday we held our annual Spring Luncheon at the Altona Supper Club. The theme was “Honey Buns, Jelly Rolls, and Layer Cakes”, a Tribute to the Fine Art of Quilting. It was a feast for our eyes and tummies!

Thank you to all of our guests for spending your day with us and supporting the society. Thank you to board member Kay Nett and her quilting friends, Lori Thomas, Cathy Sesing, Bonnie Wilkum, Mary Ann Lueders, Kathy Decker, Judy Zarnoth, Terry Schloss, Judy Belke, and Roxanne Gaedke for feeding our eyes. Thank you to Dave and his crew at the Altona for feeding our stomachs.

We will be open this weekend! Stop in and warm your bones by one of the original and restored radiators! I know that’s my favorite spot!

Looking for a great weekend event this holiday season? Look no further than the New Holstein Historical Society's Timm House!

If you’ve never been inside the Timm House, this is your chance. The remaining weekends before Christmas, see the beautiful Victorian home of Herman C. Timm and his wife Augusta all decked out for Christmas.

The Herman C. Timm House, located at 1600 Wisconsin Avenue in "downtown" New Holstein, has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1996. The house is a significant example of Queen Anne Style architecture called stick style architecture. It was initially constructed in 1873 with an addition completed in 1892.
