Stone Repair work being done. There has been a lot of damage to the stonework due to water, the fire that occurred in 1998 and also chemicals that had been used on the stone when someone attempted to clean the stone.

This past weekend we conducted the last tours of the mansion for the season. We were amazed at the turnout for tours with over 400 people touring the mansion. Also, the interest people have in the mansion as well as the history of New Castle. Zenia and I as well as Sam and Marcia want to thank everyone who toured the mansion for your great response and support for what we are doing. It is greatly appreciated. We learned a good deal more about the house from people on tours who lived in the house at some point in time. We also appreciate the stories you shared! They will be used in our future tours.
