The Landisburg Historic Walking Tours begin from 5pm-6pm on Friday, July 3, 2026, and attendees MUST register to take the tour as numbers are limited. The tour is free.

After the tour, there is a 250th program in front of the Landisburg Fire Hall. Anyone is welcome to attend and they should bring lawn chairs or a blanket. Bootlleg creamery will be selling their local ice cream! There will be music and a recognition of the newly hung Hometown Heroes banners. District Attorney Clay Merris will be the Keynote Speaker, and Rick Smiley will be the emcee. There is a fun Beard Contest also scheduled. If it rains, the event will be held in the pavilion at Mark Henry Park.

Last Call!!! Liverpool Sun newspapers from the 19-teens-several years, plus a few other odd newspapers from Perry County. These MUST GO! Stop in tomorrow at our annual book sale and take them along to add to your collection. While you're here, check out a couple of very desirable books still for sale: Chandler's Perry County Railroad book and what appears to be an original print of H.H. Hain's History of Perry Co. And then take home a quart of home made chicken corn soup or some pulled pork BBQ made with our apple butter bbq sauce. At the Lenig-Focht Library Saturday from 10 to 2. We'll also be open for research for anyone researching their family tree or local history.

Perry County flags & license plates at 2 day only pricing, some rare and unique collectibles as well as tons of books, pictorial calendars, and Liverpool Sun papers from the 19-teens. Stop by and check out the treasures. Please note: this is our ONLY sale for 2026 and everything is CASH-n-carry (no credit cards), and no holds-first come first serve.

The Perry Historians hosted the Perry County Chapter DAR for their annual workshop. They have concluded for the day and the Lenig-Focht Library is open for research until 5:00pm. The library user fee is waved for today. Come on in and do some research!
