✨Sites Spotlight✨
This month, NSHS staff members, the Antelope County Museum, and the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska met in Neligh, Nebraska to discuss how to further honor and recognize the story of White Buffalo Girl and the Ponca Tribe.

18-month-old White Buffalo Girl, daughter of Black Elk and Moon Hawk, was one of several who died during the forced removal of the Ponca from their ancestral homeland to Indian Territory (present Oklahoma) in 1877.

On October 26th, the Antelope County Museum put on their annual Halloween party. The theme was werewolves. It included a live werewolf aka Hank. The children played games and made their own werewolf mask along with food and other fun things. Thank you to everyone that helped and attended. Pictures in comments as only allowed so many on post.
