Every summer, One Clip at a Time offers a series of FREE professional development institutes – both virtual and in-person – open to educators across North America.
The in-person two-day session includes a day of training in Chattanooga on the One Clip curriculum and a day to visit the Children's Holocaust Memorial in Whitwell, Tennessee, where attendees get the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with originators of The Paper Clips Project.

This year’s theme is Courage and Hope: The Holocaust Through the Eyes of a Child. Middle school students in grades 6-8 are invited to submit artwork, and high school students in grades 9-12 are invited to submit essays. Cash prizes for the top winners are made possible by the Kaethe Mela Family Memorial Fund of the Jewish Foundation of Memphis.
