Arts at the Airport Arts at the Airport is housed within the Community Affairs, Arts and Events department of Nashville International Airport®/BNA®.

Arts at the Airport is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that receives funding for the visual arts from Nashville International Airport® and the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC). It is administered by both an art curator and an airport entertainment coordinator, and governed by a 15-member AaA Foundation Board of Directors, who are approved by the BNA Board of Commissioners. The 2024-2025 Flying Solo Call for Artists at BNA is now OPEN, and we are excited to invite amazing new artists to this popular rotating exhibition series at Nashville International Airport. This opportunity is only open to Tennessee residents or artists who can demonstrate a strong connection to Tennessee either through prior residency or their artwork. The deadline is May 12, 2024. 📣 ARTISTS! The Bonnaroo Works Fund in partnership with Arts at the Airport are seeking proposals for 4 temporary public artwork Bonnaroo-themed displays at BNA.

Displays will be suspended from the skylights in our concourses from June 5, 2024 to April 7, 2025. Each selected artist will receive an honorarium of $4,500 and 2 General Admission Weekend Passes and 1 Car Camping Pass to the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival (June 13-16, 2024). The ideal project should be inspired by the principles of the Bonnaroovian Code, and should communicate the Bonnaroo brand.

📣 Deadline Extension for Terrazzo Artwork! 📣 We're inviting artists/teams living in Tennessee to submit proposals for the design of a terrazzo floor circular piece to be at the end of the new Concourse D Extension. The Circular Node wraps around a future concessions space located at the end of Concourse D, and the artists/teams will create the floor designs. The new deadline for submission is February 1, 2024.
