Christina Cohn Ceramics Functional pottery made with love in Nashville, Tennessee! Christina Cohn was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1974. She also enjoys making decorative objects.

She received a BS in Exercise Physiology from Belmont University and took classes there for three years under Master Ceramicist Jason Briggs and for one year under Master Ceramicist Matt Chenoweth. She began her studies with a hand building class at Vanderbilt Sarratt Center in 1994 but did not get back to clay for a number of years because of her career and young family building. One of her first

artistic endeavors was making stained glass windows. Christina finds that making functional work that is included into people’s daily rituals is a source of great pleasure to her. She makes wheel thrown pieces often embellished with hand built clay flowers, horns, beads, dots or other organic shapes attached. Christina has always been influenced by nature; she is especially attracted to imperfections and organic shapes and placements. She finds time to go into the woods at least once a week. She lives in Nashville with her two children who are her biggest fans!
