The Adult Art Competition was another wonderful highlight of the 2026 Greeley Park Art Show! This year’s competition brought together an impressive variety of talent, creativity, and artistic styles across eight categories: Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor Painting, Mixed Media, 3D, Drawing/Printmaking, Pastels, and Photography.

Walking through the competition tent, visitors had the opportunity to see an incredible range of work and, even better, to meet many of the artists behind it. Seeing our winners proudly standing beside their artwork and ribbons is such a great reminder of what the Greeley Park Art Show is all about — celebrating artists and giving our community a place to come together through art.

Congratulations to Marilene Sawaf, who received Best in Show, as well as 1st Prize in Mixed Media!

Congratulations also to Victoria Tkaczevski, whose piece “Diary of Minatures” was selected as the Viewer’s Choice.

Yesterday after dropping some yard signs off in the North End, my husband and I took a walk through the Greeley Park Art Show. It is a real treasure to be able to visit amazing area artists in our gem of a city park. Make sure to check it out next summer if you have never been.

“I have had so much positive feedback on the show that it is truly gratifying,” said Sonia Lee Gilmore, one of the coordinators of the show. “We could not have done it without all the volunteers who worked hard endlessly.”
