Taking care of art and creating beautiful frames has been our passion since we first opened the business in 1975. After high school, I joined the military.

Taking care of art and creating beautiful frames has been Michael’s passion since he first opened his business in 1975. Today, servicing our clients’ art and frames remains our privilege and joy. To our customers and vendors, thank you for your patience as we work through the tragic fire that occurred in the early morning hours of February 20th.

Upon completing my service, I returned to my home city of Washington, DC, where I began working as an apprentice in the field of fine arts and found a fascinating new world. I worked hard, learning as much as I could about art conservation, art restoration and fine picture framing. After 6 years of honing my skills and caring for exquisite pieces of art, I opened my own shop in Naples, FL in 1975. As we begin 2015, I’ll be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the opening of my business. I look forward to sharing my love and enthusiasm for fine art with you!”

We just framed this large African Tapestry
We stretched the tapestry on custom keyable stretcher bars and framed it in a dark walnut floater frame

We had the pleasure of repairing and framing this original newspaper dated from the time President Lincoln was shot and killed.
Using archival materials, we framed it in a traditional dark wood with a gold beaded lip, hand drawn lines on a rag mat and museum glass.

Another Beautiful Restoration!!
This painting was torn in multiple areas and needed cleaning.
We cleaned, prepped and lined the canvas, varnished and in-painted the voided areas to match. Thankfully the owners had great photos before it was damaged so we could recreate the missing paint on the man playing the flute.
