What an INCREDIBLE day we had yesterday!
We want to say a special *Thank You* to Good News Bible Church Car Club. Without them, this event could not have happened, and would not have been so successful. Kenny, Garet, Dan, Ilene, Sue, and so many others - just a fantastic team to work alongside, and hearts of gold - every single one of them! And Dan, thank you for letting us show off your car in front of the Depot and let people get photos with it!
Thank you to Nampa Farmers Market - without the dynamic support and coordination of that team of people - Niccole, Jeralynne, Amanda, so many others - we wouldn’t have even had a location to have this show, and they are so intentional with the way they put things together, their communication, and coordination - listening to them yesterday morning as they packed all those vendors into their spaces gave us an opportunity to see the care and work that goes into making their weekly event flow smoothly. They are a well oiled machine!
Thank you to Golgotha Fellowship Church and CED! Without your coordination with NFM, being willing let us use both of your parking lots, getting the lots prepped to protect the cars from punctures and damage, and all that went into giving us your space, we are so grateful! We appreciate your grace with water, air conditioning in the foyer when we needed it, and so much more - again, we couldn’t have done it without you!
Thank you to the City of Nampa - supporting our community with the Nampa Farmers Market, giving us clear guidance so we all can be successful, and all you do in the community while still maintaining our streets - thank you!
To my Depot volunteers -
You are the best! How could anything have gone so well if I hadn’t had such dedicated and steadfast volunteers to keep things running while I ran around like a crazy person?!? Jay, Ed, Mrs G, Lacy, even Rich who just started volunteering this weekend - you guys are the best!
Thank you to the Clarksons for bringing out the Mercer, letting people get photos, and being such a huge support!
Thank you to every single one of the participants - you know, I often gush about how great my job is getting to see the trains go by every day. What could be better, right? Well, yesterday I found out! I got to hang out around some of THE MOST GORGEOUS and INCREDIBLE cars in the Treasure Valley yesterday! Wow! All day long I just kept thinking, what an amazing day! How lucky am I? How cool is this!!!???!!!
And thank you to my hubby, Jon, for letting me voluntell him to be there with me yesterday, being my right hand man, support, and getting everything buttoned up before heading home!
With all of your generosity, we raised about $2100 for the Depot, as well as a TON of food for the Good News Bible Church Food Bank! You guys seriously rock! What an amazing community we have!
There are so many more to add and thank - this event was simply incredible, and I’m already excited for next year!!!
