Joining us on August 14 at the Isaac Meier Homestead 250 Event is
Jessica Siegel, a member of the Lancaster County Beekeepers Society, is a local beekeeper in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, where she tends to a small apiary on her farm. She got into beekeeping initially for pollinating crops in her garden but has also come to enjoy the many other benefits of beekeeping. Recently, Jessica Siegel has been volunteering at her son’s elementary school as the School Garden Coordinator and educating the students about honeybees and beekeeping. She is looking forward to bringing a beehive (without the bees), common beekeeping tools, and answering questions about beekeeping at the Isaac Meier Homestead!

Our Fiber in the Park event on Tuesday, July 14 is a fantastic opportunity to stock up on fiber supplies and discover unique, handcrafted items!

Margi will have hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns available for sale and Aboundingful Farms, (https://www.facebook.com/aboundingfulfarm/) will be featuring drop spindle kits, knitting-in-progress pins, bunny pins, handspun angora yarn, handspun mohair lockspun yarn, and millspun wool yarn from their Leicester Longwool and Romeldale CVM sheep.

This is a fantastic opportunity to stock up on fiber supplies and discover unique, handcrafted items—all in one place!
