Okay, but should we be worried about the spiders??

The short answer: no! These Golden Silk Orb Weavers can be found around the Floyd Family Farm and Lowcountry Zoo and act as a great pest control, keeping flies and other insects away from our animals.

They are harmless to humans and highly beneficial due to their natural pest insect population control. Check out these cool web builders on your next visit!

We're looking back with gratitude for everyone who joined us this summer for Summer Light: Art By Night featuring Gardens of Glass. Thank you for sharing your evenings, your memories, and your kind words.

We also want to shine a light on our incredible staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make Summer Light such a memorable event.

The Finale
The Brookgreen horticulture team gathers at the Pegasus pool one last time for the official water lily weigh-off. Devin decides to leave the weigh-off team while Madi cheers Victoria on. A surprise visit from the CEO gives the team a confidence boost.
