We are now accepting new artist applications for the 2026 Oak Street Art Fair! This will be our TENTH ANNIVERSARY for this event.

The Oak Street Art Fair takes place on the last Saturday in April (4/25/26) in the Logan Historic Arts Neighborhood in Murphysboro, IL. It features over 40 local artists, live music, children’s activity tent, food trucks and wine. This is a juried show open to local artists selling original artwork. The Oak Street Art Collective is a non-profit organization run by eight artists in Southern IL.
🎨TO APPLY: Please send 3 images of your work and a 3-5 sentence artist’s statement to [email protected]. Images should be no bigger than 4mb. The submission deadline is April 1 , 2026.
🖌️ELIGIBILITY: All artists wanting to sell original artwork are encouraged to apply. No AI. Artists’applications will be juried by the Oak Street Art Collective. Artwork will be judged based on originality and ex*****on, and considered alongside the number of other artists working in that medium already exhibiting at the fair. Applications are juried as they are received. Artists are welcome to apply in more than one medium, but should submit a separate set of images for each medium.
