For three magical evenings, Oakhurst Gardens will transform into an enchanted faerie wonderland inspired by Elisabeth "Betty" Ball and her belief that faeries lived among the flowers and trees.

Families can enjoy:

🌱✨ Celebrate Nature Play Days at the Farmers Market at Minnetrista.

During this special market experience, guests can shop seasonal produce, artisan baked goods, plants, meats, handcrafted items, and more while enjoying the energy of a vibrant outdoor community gathering.

As part of Nature Play Days, Minnetrista’s Horticulture team will host a hands-on, nature-themed craft activity at their booth beginning at 9 a.m., inviting guests of all ages to explore creativity inspired by the outdoors.

On June 5 from 9 a.m.–12 p.m., Concannon’s Pastry Shop will offer free donuts while raising funds for the Muncie Salvation Army through donations and additional purchases.

National Donut Day was created by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the “Donut Lassies,” the female volunteers who served donuts to soldiers during World War I to boost morale on the front lines in France.

📿🌿 Nature Play Days continue this week at Minnetrista!

Join us Saturday from 9 a.m. to Noon, during the Farmers Market, for a special hands-on activity: Conservation Crafting: Honeysuckle Necklace with the Delaware Invasive Plant Project (DIPP). Kids can create their own nature-inspired necklace while learning about invasive plants and local conservation efforts. 🌱

Plus, stop by the Horticulture booth for another fabulous plant sale filled with blooms, herbs, greenery, and more to help your garden thrive this summer. 🪴✨

Nature Play Days also features our refreshed Nature Play Obstacle Course, inviting families to explore, play, and reconnect with the outdoors all week long.
