These are the first layers on a couple of paintings I have been working on. The first is based off of my love of Cezanne paintings. The second is a contemporary abstract piece. I am excited to add more layers! :-)

A face and life that appears often in my memory, as I paint and live my life, is the beautiful Queen of England. I want to honor her today, as a woman who stood true to her dignity, in a world where it seems fleeting, and something to be tossed aside. She was classy and regal, yet hard working. I also feel that she never looked more beautiful than with her children, Grandchildren, or Great-grandchildren. I hope to keep her memory in my heart, always!
