Take Home Volunteer Kit
September Kit: Tiny Books, Big Stories
For grades 9–12

Need volunteer hours but don’t have time to spend a few hours at the library all at once? This take-home volunteer kit is made for you. Register for the September kit, pick it up at the library, and complete your project at home by the end of the month.

For this kit, teens will create tiny books to share a story, whether it’s about important moments in your life, a favorite trip or adventure, or your everyday hobbies and activities. Be creative, use words and illustrations, and keep it family-friendly. Your finished work will be displayed in the teen area in October and November.

How it works:

• Register at BaxLib.org/Events by the 15th of the month.
• Pick up your supply kit at the teen desk starting on the 1st of the month.
• Return your completed project by September 30.

Each completed kit is worth 3 volunteer hours. One kit per registrant, per month. Mrs. Amy will email proof of hours by the 6th of the following month.
