Help you realize the important role that our ancestors - history plays as a guide to understanding the present and possibly predicting the future. Help you visualize the vicious brutalities that African who were enslaved, suffered and died during those years of enslavement in the United States of America. Demonstrate how strong willed and determined people were to live - to be free men ( freedom for themselves, their children and the children to come in the future) and have all of the rights and benefits as freemen. Show the strength, resolve and creativity of a people who were made slaves - through words, graphics and sculptures and other presentation materials. We hopefully will motivated, educate and inspire individuals - our young citizens who are confronted with contemporary forms of slavery such as illiteracy, addiction, hopelessness and false imprisonment, to seek additional information and knowledge.
