Sherman County Historical Society & Museum The national-award-winning Sherman County Historical Museum located in Moro, Ore., is your stop for local history. Take a walk on the rural side with us!

The Museum comprises 16,000 square feet and over 15,000 artifacts used in Native American families, Oregon Trail migration, rural households, churches, schools, businesses, livestock production, dry-land wheat farming and conservation, military units and patriotic efforts. Seventy of the county's 2,000 residents volunteer at the Museum. We are a unique non-profit county museum with interpretive e
