Our film "The Sada Coe Story" will be shown this Saturday, July 18th, 7:30pm at Henry W. Coe State Park at park headquarters just off Dunne Avenue in the foothills east of Morgan Hill. Special thanks to our local filmmakers - director/producer Robin Shepherd and cinematographer/film editor Nils Myers for another great documentary film. Why not go up for a hike then enjoy the film!

We were honored to welcome the return of Diana Murphy Hill to her home at Villa Mira Monte last night! She was accompanied by Catherine Murphy Dunne, Sada Coe, and Virginia Mae Days. You may know them today as Carol Holzgrafe, Marilyn Pifer, Margo Hinnenkamp, and Yvonne Beltran.

These remarkable women shared many of their life experiences that helped shape Morgan Hill, with presentations that were fun, inspiring, and educational.

The event was hosted by AAUW of Morgan Hill in celebration of Women's Week and Morgan Hill's 120th Anniversary.

Inaugural Morgan Hill Mobile History Tour!

In celebration of our city's 120th anniversary, and in partnership with the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley, the Morgan Hill Historical Society is hosting its first-ever Mobile History Tour!

Seats are limited for this unique opportunity for residents to learn about Morgan Hill's history in a fun, creative way.

When: Saturday, September 12 - 9:00 to 10:10 a.m.
Where: Starting at Villa Mira Monte (17860 Monterey Rd., Morgan Hill)

Join us for an exciting ribbon-cutting and downtown history walking tour to kick off Leadership Morgan Hill's Class of 2026 project — "Many Stories, One Morgan Hill."

This year's class has created a self-guided historical trail through downtown Morgan Hill, featuring approximately 20 stops that highlight landmarks, people, and events important to our city's history. Each stop includes a plaque with a QR code that connects visitors to deeper stories, photos, and audio narration online.

The result is a lasting experience for residents, students, and visitors to enjoy for years to come — one that strengthens appreciation for Morgan Hill's heritage.
