We're honored to have MHS alumnus and Medal of Honor recipient Sammy L. Davis on campus next Wednesday. Be sure to stop by and see the museum after the ceremony!

We're thrilled to have one of Mooresville's and America's true heroes, Sammy Lee Davis, visit us next week. The 1966 Mooresville Alumnus is widely known as "The Real Forrest Gump," as his heroism in Vietnam and his Medal of Honor ceremony footage were both part of the famous book and movie. The public is welcome to the events below as part of his visit.

The Academy Museum will be open on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 3-4:30p.m. as part of the Mooresville Friends Church 200th Anniversary Celebration. Stop by to tour the building, view historic documents and memorabilia, and more.

The Academy Museum will be part of the Mooresville Friends Church 200th Anniversary Celebration! Learn about the history of the Friends settling this area and the creation of central Indiana's first high school at their event on Aug. 19. Information begins at the church and there will be tours of the Academy afterward.
