Silver has climbed to over $78 per ounce, shattering all previous records and marking the metal's largest increase since 1979. That's a roughly 150% increase in a single year. Silver is reclaiming its historical place as a truly precious metal. Like many small, independent jewelers, I’ve absorbed as much of these increases as possible for as long as I could.
