Art (and Nature) from the Hartt is a small business that focuses on art and plants. My art features paintings from our Southwest travel and various colorful forms of plant life. I also with have plants for sale, including bare root daylilies, succulents, bromeliads, and begonias.

The 2026 handmade pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns are waiting for you at Country Flair. The 2026 editions are painted in southwest and desert colors. I even did one in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park inspired colors. These are molded with hypertufa stone, have local scrub oak stems, and are varnished in UV protective varnish. So, they are indoor/outdoor and will last for decades. Each is one-of-a-kind and made in Montrose. My booth has moved upstairs and is across from the front windows.

My Ouray Christmas gnomes are waiting to meet you at the Montrose Woman's Holiday Bazaar! These are hand poured cement in Swedish molds, then painted in acrylic pour and finished with UV varnish. The colors include festive red, green, silver and white. The agate look reminds me of Christmas Ouray! Stop by Friendship Hall today or tomorrow to meet them.

Working on my hypertufa Lack-o-pumpkins today. These should be down at Country Flair early next week and I'll have one at tge Woman's Holiday Bazaar this coming weekend.

The days are hard, as the grief is very alive in me. The art helps (mostly). I changed the name of my dog's Instagram from Three Amigas Hartt to Three Amigas Mini Dog Haven as a legacy to Cimarron and a signal that I'm not done helping special needs pups. Come follow along.
