Who's visited the Painted Wall at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park? Meet my Painted Wall gnomes! The hats are a combo of 9 colors, including metalics, inspired by the colors of the Painted Wall. Those teal beards represent the Gunnison River. Sealed with 3 coats of UV varnish. I'm hanging out with my Painted Wall gnomes at the Artisans Market until 4 PM. Come visit us. 443-5 Main St.

Today is the day! The 2nd Artisans Market at 443-5 E Main in Montrose. I'll be there with some new gnome colors - Dallas Divide, Goblin Valley (Halloween), and Ouray Christmas. Well, here is Kachina the first and last full day of the camping trip. (Last Monday and today.) Great improvement but still need the racoon eyes to drain. Hopefully, I can cancel the Tuesday vet appointment.

I'm calling my campsite a MASH camp - Mobile Animal Senior Hospital. Cimarron had hypoglycemia one day, too. Always something.

Kachina is doing better today! Eyes are much more alert. We caught a little mountain rain hiking this morning and her cone got muddy. Now, the rain falls on the tent and she licks the inside of the Cone of Shame to keep herself entertained or calm. That Cone of Shame is a souvenir. Need to do something artsy with it when we are done. Stormy day, for sure.

Update: Kachina's eyes are taking a while to heal, but they should be turning the corner this weekend. I want to get her...

Update: Kachina's eyes are taking a while to heal, but they should be turning the corner this weekend. I want to get her face groomed when this clears up so the pollen doesn't have as much fur to stick to. The drought has brought with it super pollen in the grasses.

I am introducing 4 new gnomes this fall season. Here they are (hot off the painter's desk) in either Black Canyon Painted Wall or Ouray Christmas colors, pending a few coats of UV varnish.

The names for each new style of gnome (in no particular order) are Bluff, McClure, Moffat and Steamboat. Can you guess which name goes with which gnome?

These will be showing up Country Flair, September Artisans Market and other local vendor events starting next month. Can't wait? PM for info on early purchase. All early sales go through Etsy or Country Flair for processing.
