What a wonderful afternoon at the Characters and Authors program held last Sunday! Nearly 70 people joined us at Bethany Lutheran Church for this very well attended event. We sincerely thank Bethany Lutheran Church for hosting and everyone who came out to support the program.

A special thank you goes to Don King, who spent about an hour sharing stories about the interesting and notable people from Montoursville. His storytelling brought local history to life and made for an engaging and memorable presentation.

We are also pleased to share that we have an audio recording and transcript of the program that we will share at a future time. We will also have a limited amount of Don’s booklets about Montoursville for sale at the museum during open house hours.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such a success!

We had an awesome Thursday night at trivia with 10 teams bringing the energy and competition! One thing was clear—the teams with high school students came to play taking first and second place!

A big congratulations to Madam Montour’s Fan Club for taking the win—but honestly, everyone walked away having fun, learning something new, and enjoying a great night out together.

A huge thank you to Trifecta for hosting and making everything run so smoothly. It’s one of our favorite spots, not just for the food and drinks, but for the history too—located in what was once a silk mill right in the heart of downtown Montoursville.

Great job to our teams this year:
Nothing Cringy
Madam Montour’s Fan Club
Tropic of Answer
The Extras
Thunder Dragons
I Drink and I Know Things
Up the Sock
Beyns
Sensational Seven
The A-Team

Already looking forward to the next one!
